Clinics will typically be three days, with one on one hour long sessions. We encourage each rider to ride all three days, for the best results (think layers of varnish).
Auditors are strongly encouraged. There is so much to learn from watching and listening! Questions from auditors are welcome.
It is important that the learning environment be positive, encouraging, understanding and non judgemental. The clinicians strive to provide this for each student.
Aibado (translates as "for the love of the horse") is a group of instructions and movements that Mark has put together over his many years of Aikido practice to help us horse folks work on our own softness, awareness, centeredness and other inner qualities in order to be better for our horses. For Mark's explanation of Aibado, go to his website, (www.markrashid.com) and click on "Aibado" under "Clinics". It is WONDERFUL work!

Thank you Gray and all participants, horse and human, for all the deep learning and willingness to be vulnerable! Thank you to Heidi at Heart and Heritage Stables and Pam at Stonegate Stable for providing the wonderful spaces to hold these clinics.

We deeply appreciate the opportunity to bring to VT such talented Instructors of the principles of softness, conceived and developed by Mark Rashid. All Instructors have studied intensely with and have been trained by Mark to carry on his teachings.
We look forward to continuing this journey in 2025! Please check back in next Jan/Feb for announcements.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goal of making this work accessible to all. Your generous donation will fund our mission to bring softness to humans and horses alike. Please contact us if you prefer not to use PayPal. Thank you!
